Managing my time
Time at University is a whole different concept to what you may previously have experienced in life. No one will be telling you when you get up or when to go to bed. You will have some lectures/ seminars / meetings but in many ways your time is your own. This is a mixed blessing. It is lovely to have so much freedom, but it can also mean it is easy to waste time – and before you know it, you have deadlines looming and you are pressed to complete work. Depending on your personal circumstances, you may be juggling your studies with other commitments, and this can be challenging. The key to success is actually to set your own timetable and manage your time carefully. Routines can be the key to your success – and still leave you plenty of time for fun.
