Support with spelling

Spelling correctly is important for your communication. This can be very challenging for some people, but there is support available.

Spell-checking with the Editor in Microsoft Word: You can use the Editor (F7) to have your spelling checked. Use the Editor side toolbar and click on Spelling to see and correct any errors. You can also change the settings that are used for checking your work. For example, some people find it really off-putting when Word uses the red wiggly line under a spelling mistake, so you can switch that off. The spelling error will still be included in the spell check, but it would not distract you as you are writing. Go to File – Options – Proofing to change any of these settings.
