Visual Impairment and Alternative Formats

The University of St Andrews is equipped to support visually-impaired students.

Our Digital Accessibility Adviser can offer support with the use of NVDA and JAWS software.

We have access to RNIB bookshare to obtain digital copies of any books which are not already electronic.

We also have an Alternative Formatting service, which is able to digitise books that are only available in print, to offer an electronic copy.
