Use your phone as a scanner
Microsoft Lens is an app for your phone or tablet, which can be used as a portable scanner (much cheaper than photocopying). You can take photos of text and convert it into a digital format. You can then save this and have it read aloud for you. Once you have taken your photo, you can use filters to approve the quality and then you can export it (to One Drive, or One Note, for example) or you can use the Immersive Reader to read it aloud.
